He earned a Ph.D. from the Harvard University Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His&nbsp;Ph.D. research work focused on an evaluation of the potential of wind power as a cost-effective means to reduce emissions of CO2&nbsp;using an integrative approach with an interdisciplinary perspective.&nbsp;His current research focuses on&nbsp;the technical, economic, social and environmental dimensions of low or zero carbon energy sources as a means to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.</p><p>Sponsored by Harvard-China Project, Harvard Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.</p>
